I probably won't use this template unless it perfectly fits, but I thought I would try it... But so far, it seems really easy and it may turn out pretty nice enough to use.... so who knows?)

I was thinking I would use StudioPress theme ( Essence Pro ), using my license at StudioPress. It also integrates with an eCommerce Cart.
But again, this demo site may be good enough... (So easy.... !)

This site is a demonstration site to:

  • gather information,

  • collaborate ideas,

  • grow the catalog,

  • see how shopping cart fits.

Well, Cart or no cart, regardless of tech choices, you have to grow the catalog, and it needs to be up to snuff to adequately show off your items.

For provenance questions at this cost, I don't expect buyers just to click and pay up without interaction, but with a cart, they conceivably could do so.

Quality, not quantity

They are pretty much one of a kind, and while we believe they are historically accurate; but items in this store require extreme scrutiny. We act as custodian, and feel these items should be kept for posterity, either by us or by you.... Please foster your own belief before you buy....

We are up to the challenge though, and absolutely expect buyers to exhaust every avenue of scientific thought to research these pieces. In words akin to the Statue of Liberty says: "Give me your nay-sayers, your experts, your curators, in search of the truth.... yearning to breathe free," or something like that... If you don't buy, at least you know that this collection exists, and we thank you for stopping by.

Full disclosure: There are some in the industry that think things are "too good to be true", but check if they did their research, or do your own... So buyer beware, but also buyer be smart as you can be.... or just don't buy....
